Olympic Referee Selection Course in Korea

Referees are most important for our Taekwondo games - everybody knows that. Many times there are discussions about the referee decisions during competition - everybody knows that too. Despite the fact, that WTF is strongly moving into the direction of introducing electronic equipment for automatic point receiving, there always will be human referees necessary to guide and judge the games.
During the last training camp for International Referees, held in Jeonju city of Jeolla province in Korea, a number of referees had been screened thoroughly not only about their judging abilities, but also for their physical condition. Have a look at the pictures below and you will recognize that not only the competitors are sweating during training but also the referees.
