World Taekwondopia Conference

On March 10th 2006 a conference about t
he guidelines for developing the World Taekwondo Center in Muju / Korea took place in Cheonju city of Cheollabukdo-province in Korea. As we all have heard before, Muju has been chosen as the hosting place for the new World Taekwondo Center to be constructed from 2007 on. A long and intense competition between different regions in Korea has been concluded with the decision for Muju last year.
Many Taekwondo world leaders have been participating in this conference, among them WTF President Dr. Chungwon Choue, Kukkiwon Vice President Song Sang Kuen and former ETU Vice President Seo Myung Soo. 
From ETU Secretary General Gerrit Eissing took part and gave his ideas about the details and plans for the World Taekwondopia. Not only sporting facilities and offices are to be constructed in Muju but a whole theme park together with recreation facilities and many other amenities.
