WTF has published a list of the best 10 International Referees at the Poomse World Championships in Seoul:
1. Mr. Kim Kang Ein - KOREA
2. Mr. Shin Tong Wan - UK
3. Mr. Varo Darid Barragan - PANAMA
4. Ms. Carmen Navarro - SPAIN
5. Mr. Teon Chin Lim - SINGAPORE
6. Ms. Nur Syahidah Binti - MALAYSIA
7. Mr. Kim Jong Wan - FRANCE
8. Mr. Hafez Mahdavi - IRAN
9. Mr. Santigo Escutia Martin - MEXICO
10. Mr. Joon No - AUSTRALIA
In order to keep the value and the reputation of International Referees high, WTF on one hand has a keen eye on referee work and does not bother to punish mistakes as seen at the last World Junior Taekwondo Championships in Vietnam, on the other hand excellent work will be praised more in the future. This is a practical way to rise the standard of referees even more while looking forward to the next Olympic Games in Beijing 2008.
