International Taekwondo Symposium in Beijing

The World Taekwondo Federation signed a memorandum of understanding with Kyung Hee University on holding an international taekwondo symposium in a ceremony at the headquarters of the WTF in Seoul on Oct. 20, 2006.The contract was signed between WTF President Chungwon Choue and Jeong Ju Kim, dean of the College of Physical Education, Kyung Hee University.
The contract stipulates that Kyung Hee University and the WTF will cooperate to hold an international taekwondo symposium on the occasion of the WTF-promoted World Taekwondo Championships.
Accordingly, the 1st International Taekwondo Symposium is to be held in Beijing China on May 16, 2007, two days before the opening of the 2007 WTF World Taekwondo Championships.
