ETU participates at SPORTEL in Monaco

A record total of 2,117 participants, representing a record 932 companies from 67 countries worldwide, took part in SPORTELMonaco 2006, making it the largest SPORTEL event ever. Professionals involved with all aspects of international sports broadcasting, sports content and sports images convene at SPORTEL events, where they do business and broaden their network of contacts while learning more about today’s challenges and opportunities in the growing field of Sports and Television due to the rapid expansion of New Media.The creation of new alliances and corporate entities gives rise to new business opportunities for the participants, reinforcing the importance of SPORTEL as a meeting venue for top-level executives from around the world.

The Chairman of ETU PR-Committee, Mr. Luc Sougne, represented the European Taekwondo Union at this event and had talks with several representatives of the Media regarding the future covering of Taekwondo events.
