The Spanish Taekwondo Federation has announced the 2005 Spanish Open as a test event for the upcoming Taekwondo World Championships 2005 in Madrid. About 200 Teams out of 20 countries participated at this event. Olympic medallists, World- and European Champions came to Madrid to experience the site of the World Champions in April. A number of WTF ExCo-Members have been present to witness the truth of the spanish Motto: OK...NO PROBLEM!
According to the Spanish Federation everything went well and the preparation for the World Championships 2005 is ready. Our spanish friends have established a lofty goal: no less that the best World Championships ever is the ultimate goal of the organizing committee. We wish them all the best to reach it and we will gladly meet in Madrid 2005!
