The new WTF President to fill Dr. Un Yong Kim's remaining term of office will be elected at the extraordinary General Assembly to be convened on June 11th 2004. The extraordinary meeting will be held at the Hyatt Hotel near the Incheon International Airport in Korea.
The WTF secretariat has informed member national associations of the Fact on Feb. 20th and asked those aspiring to run for the election tp apply for the candidate by March 11th, three months before the election.
Accordingly, four candidates including Acting President Sun Jae Park expressed their willingness to run for the election. The other three candidates are Cha Sok Park and Sang Lee, both WTF Vice Presidents, as well as Chung Won Choue, former President of the Kyunghee University in Korea.
