Chungwon Choue, WTF President, signed a cooperation partnership agreement with Jerome Caille, President of Adecco, a Swiss-based manpower management company, on Oct. 20 at its headquarters in Zurich.

The agreement to be effective from Jan. 1, 2005 to Dec. 31, 2008, is aimed at offering adequate job opportunities for retired Taekwondo athletes across the world.

According to the agreement, Adecco, in close cooperation with WTF, will operate Athletes’ Program designed to help Taekwondo athletes who already retired or consider retirement find new jobs in consideration of their individual career and other capabilities.

Adecco is known to be the largest employment company in the world, having more than 5,800 offices in 71 territories around the world. All services from the company for Taekwondo athletes will be offered free of charge.

Upon signing the agreement, Choue said “the agreement is hoped to be helpful for the athletes who have devoted themselves to Taekwondo training.”
