The European Senior Championships in Lillehammer have shown a number of magnificent competitions between the top Taekwondo athletes of Europe, some of them being qualified for the Olympic Games in Athens 2004. 39 nations have applied for participation, about 400 competitors came to Lillehammer, the nordic town of the Olympic Winter Games of 1994.
The organizers have done their best to provide a perfect location for the tournament, Accomodation for athletes and officials are within walking distance to the hall. ETU has held a number of meetings discussing various matters including the upcoming election of a new WTF President in Incheon. WTF Acting President Park Sun Jae also attended the championships.
