The PR- and Media Workshop organized by the concerned ETU committees has been a success. In the PR-Workshop the needs and expectations of media people regarding the coverage of Taekwondo events and cooperation between the organizers and the journalists have been discussed. As a result of this discussion, the PR-committee will establish a guideline to organizers what to prepare for the press and how to successfully communicate with the media when organizing a Taekwondo event.
The ETU Scientific Committee also succeeded in organizing the 1st European Taekwondo Symposium under the tilte of "New Olympic Horizons". The speakers gave an insight in different aspects of top level coaching and preparing athletes for high tournaments. The abstracts of the speeches will be published on the ETU homepage soon.
