ETU has held it's regular Board Meeting during the Olympic Games on August 25th in Athens. The following topics were discussed and decided according to the agenda:
Change of Board members
Mr.Cengiz Yagiz ( Turkey) resigned from the ETU Board. According to the ETU statutes Mr. Fuzuli Masayev (Azerbaijan) has been elected in the ETU board and will replace Mr. Yagiz until the next election.
European Technical Championships 2005
ETU decided that the upcoming ETU Technical Championships will be held in Turku Finland in June 2005. In this championship the ETU Rules for Technical Competition (May 2000) will be used.
Selection of A-Class tournaments
The ETU board elected 8 international Open Tournament as A class tournaments for 2005. This will be the following:
- Open Swedish
- German Open
- Belgium Open
- Dutch open
- Croatian Open
- French Open
- Spanish Open
- Austrian Open
