Chungwon Choue, WTF President, appointed 10 new members of the Executive Council, the highest decision-making body of the WTF, on Sept. 17(Friday), increasing the total number of WTF Executive Council members to 40.
Choue also appointed Mr. Ahmed Fouly, president of the African Taekwondo Union (ATF)and a member of WTF EC, as the WTF Vice President, bringing the total number of Vice Presidents to six.
WTF President was empowered to appoint three or less number of vice presidents and 10 or less number of EC members in accordance with the WTF rule and regulation revised in the General Assembly held in Garmisch-Partenkirchen, Germany, in
September last year. The detailed information related to the newly appointed vice president and 10 EC members are as follow:
