Korean Taekwondo Association has approved the electronic point system of Fair Play company. This device has been presented to ETU officials during last years board meeting in Athens (see report above). Until now two big Taekwondo bodies have approved this system: PATU and KTA. It seems that the next big change in Taekwondo competition is just to happen.
Until now WTF has been reluctant to acknowledge any kind of electronic judging system because of the great impact this would have on Taekwondo tournaments. It might be safe to say though that sooner or later electronic judging will be a part of any competition.
